PARYCOD 500 mg/30mg

PARYCOD contains the active substances paracetamol and codeine.

- Paracetamol belongs to a group of medicines called analgesics and antipyretics that work by reducing pain and fever.

- Codeine belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics that work by relieving pain.

PARYCOD is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain.

PARYCOD is not indicated in patients below 12 years of age.

The medicine should not be taken for more than 3 days.

Talk to your doctor if you are not feeling better or feeling worse after 3 days.

How to take PARYCOD

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, weighing more than 60 kg:

PARYCOD 500 mg/30mg effervescent tablets

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, weighing more than 60 kg: 1-2 tablets as needed 1 to 3 times a day.

PARYCOD effervescent tablets should be dissolved in a glass of water and taken at intervals of at least 6

hours. The tablet can be divided into two equal doses.

PARYCOD 500 mg/30mg granules effervescent

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, weighing more than 60 kg: 1-2 sachets as needed 1 to 3 times a day.

PARYCOD effervescent granulate is dissolved in half a glass of water and taken at intervals of at least 6

hours.The sachet is bipartite.

Adolescents over 12 years of age and weighing less than 60 kg

The dosage should be determined by weight.

In adolescents weighing less than 60 kg, the recommended dosage is 1 tablet per dose, up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day, at intervals of at least 6 hours.

Children under 12 years of age

PARYCOD should not be used in children below 12 years of age.
